Private Release Book Tour

Are you a plotter or a pantser, or a hybrid? A hybrid …oh does that mean I’m energy efficient? *hopeful smile* I call it plotster. I used to be a straight up pantser, but I’ve found more and more I have to do at least a rough outline plot.

In your opinion, what makes a great hero?

Mr. Darcy *wipes drool off face* Wait …what were we talking about? I like Alpha’s, but I like a sense of humor too. I don’t think I can pin down exactly what makes a great hero. There are so many I love, including the heroes I write of course. My favorite though is Mr. Darcy from Pride & Prejudice, especially played by Colin Firth. Richard Armitage in North & South is a close, close second. *fans self*

Do you prefer strong women for heroines, or the ‘damsel in distress’ type?

Strong women, but not so strong that they’re stupid. I do like a man helping and protecting a woman. I hate too stupid to live, quaking, fainting heroines. Is there a hybrid strong damsel distress type of woman?

What book are you currently reading?

I just finished Lover at Last by J.R. Ward and I’m not reading anything currently. I’m stockpiling, but I’m getting ready to write again and I can’t read fiction while I’m writing.

Do you have anything in common with your characters?

Sense of humor? LOL Cia from Incarnate lived in the same town on the same street as me. Some of her childhood memories are mine. I’d like to think that I would be as strong as some of my heroines put in their situation, but I’m painfully shy. My heroines are NOT. They’re quite vocal.

What do you do when you’re not writing?

Computer games, scrapbooking and beading. That’s if the kids are asleep, if they’re awake then I’m spending time with them.

Summer or Fall? Summer. Though Fall is really tied close with this.

Pedicure or massage? Massage. I don’t like people messing with my feet.

Paper or plastic? Paper.
