Review: Kane's Mate
by Hazel Gower
Ever since she was a kid Faith has been protected by her werewolf family, although born a human with paranormal capabilities, she has been accepted as part of the Wolfen family. While she loves the family one person in particular holds a special place in her heart Kane the oldest and destined to be the Alpha leader of the pact. But when she was sixteen he broke her heart and she left for a few years, but now she is back and determined to do whatever she can to avoid Kane but Kane has other ideas.
KANE'S MATE by Hazel Gower is so good. Faith may be human but she is much more with the visions that she has of an upcoming war between the demons of Hell and the humans, and all paranormal creatures. She also kicks butt and does not back down from a fight if it comes to fighting demons, but when it comes to trusting her heart it is a bit different. Kane is very much the alpha from the beginning when he stakes his claim on Faith.
The best part of KANE'S MATE? The fact that there are lots of Wolfen brothers/sisters so that means a lot more books in the series. The love scenes between Faith and Kane are hotter than where the demons from Hell come from and readers cannot help but want to cheer during the fight scenes where Faith shows she is no wilting flower and kicks butt just like the rest of the Wolfen clan.
